Precautions:
The 4 pins in the connectors must completely penetrate the 4 copper contacts on the WATERPROOF LED strip to ensure optimal electrical conductivity.
When cutting your LED strip into two sections, it is essential to cut very carefully along the designated cutting line to maintain equal copper contact area on both strips.
Uneven copper contact areas can lead to poor electrical connectivity, potentially resulting in only 2 colors being displayed or no colors at all.
Installation Instructions:
Carefully cut off the WATERPROOF RGB 5050 LED strip along the cutting line to ensure equal copper contact area on each strip.
Remove the tape from the backside of the LED strip around the area of the 4 copper contacts to expose them.
Match the + electrode on the connector with the + electrode on the LED strip.
Adjust the contact points between the 4 pins in the connector and the 4 copper contacts on the LED strip to ensure complete penetration. Firmly press the LED strip to facilitate this connection.
Secure the LED strip within the connector, confirming that the 4 pins have fully penetrated the 4 copper contacts.
