Steps for a DIY Lighting Project 1.Measure the width of the strip ( make sure it is not oversized in the channel ) and test it 2.Trim the channel and cover to a required length by hacksaw or other devices . 3.Peel off the sticky at the back of the strip ,lay the strip in the channel 4.Snap the diffuser into the slot of the V channel ,fix the end caps if needed 5.Screw the Mounting Clips into the working surface (Make sure the Pilot hole is in a straight Line ), Clamp the channel in the clips 6.Flush channel end to end and fix clips in the middle of the channel for extension 7.Wiring The Strip Can be assembled after mounting the channel or away from the working site
