The multi-fuel Streamlight TLR-1 HL-X features a hinged face cap with robust release controls that allow for front-loaded battery changes without removing the light from the firearm. The light provides 1,500 Lumens and 20,000 Candela when powered by (2) Streamlight SL-B9 proprietary rechargeable battery packs (included). The light can also operate with (2) CR123A batteries (sold separately) to deliver 1000 Lumens and 15,000 Candela. Customizable rear paddle switches, momentary and constant on operation and a proGrammable strobe mode offer additional versatility for many applications.

I was excited to get the Streamlight TLR-1 HL-X, but it arrived with a dented casing. It’s a shame because I heard great things about the brightness and performance. Now I have to deal with returning it, which is frustrating.

Bright and Reliable Tactical Light
I've been using the Streamlight TLR-1 HL-X for my home defense setup, and it's been fantastic. The 1500 lumens really light up the room, and the rechargeable feature is super convenient. Plus, it fits perfectly on my rail, making it easy to mount and dismount when needed.

Great Light, But Not Perfect
For a tactical light, the TLR-1 HL-X packs a punch with 1500 lumens, and I really liked the rechargeable USB feature. However, the color of the light seemed a bit off from what I expected in person. Still, it performs well when you need it.

Good Light, But Some Setup Issues
The Streamlight TLR-1 HL-X is a solid weapon light with impressive brightness. However, I struggled a bit with the instructions on how to mount it correctly. Once I figured it out, it worked beautifully. Just wish the setup was smoother.
