The multi-fuel Streamlight TLR-1 HL-X features a hinged face cap with robust release controls that allow for front-loaded battery changes without removing the light from the firearm. The light provides 1000 Lumens and 15,000 Candela when powered by (2) CR123A batteries (included). The light can also operate with (2) Streamlight SL-B9 proprietary rechargeable battery packs (sold separately) to deliver 1,500 Lumens and 20,000 Candela. Customizable rear paddle switches, momentary and constant on operation and a programmable strobe mode offer additional versatility for many applications.

The Streamlight TLR-1 HL is a powerful weapon light with impressive candela. However, I struggled a bit with mounting it on my rail. The instructions were somewhat unclear, and I had to watch a video to get it right. Once it was on, it worked perfectly though!

Disappointed with the quality
I had high hopes for the Streamlight TLR-1 HL, but mine arrived with a scratch on the lens. For the price, I expected better quality control. It works fine with my tactical rail and is bright enough, but I just can’t ignore that blemish. Very frustrating!

Bright and rugged tactical light!
