This feature does not use a Photocell to operate, which means that it can be installed and used indoor. To get the exact dusk time, a Photocell is also included on the transformer (auto mode). the lights will turn on at dusk and off at dawn either using the auto feature (Photocell - which Operates according to the ambient light) or by using the internal astronomical TIMER.
