The Satco S21423 is a 5 watt LED PL lamp with a GX23 base designed for fast, flexible retrofits. It supports Type A plug and play with compatible electronic ballasts or Type B direct wire after a ballast bypass, so one lamp covers mixed sites and phased upgrades. At 4000K cool white with 80 plus CRI, it delivers about 650 lumens to replace a typical 13W CFL while reducing energy use and heat in compact housings. A frosted polycarbonate lens softens the source and a wide 300 degree distribution fills trims and lenses evenly for clean ceilings and walls. The compact body measures about 4.09 inches overall by 1.52 inches in diameter, fits tight cans, and works in any orientation. The universal 120 to 277 volt driver includes surge protection and power factor around 0.9 for reliable daily operation. The lamp is enclosed fixture rated, damp location rated, and NSF approved for appropriate environments. S21423 is non dimmable as specified, rated for 50,000 hours, and backed by a 5 year warranty. It operates from minus 20 C to plus 45 C. Use it across corridors, restrooms, lobbies, and light commercial areas where a balanced, professional 4000K tone is preferred and maintenance teams want one GX23 solution that supports both ballast compatible and direct wire jobs.
