We strongly advise you to put the panel under direct sun. The solar panel is waterproof, so without worrying putting it outdoor for a long time. Dimmable Remote for Solar Mode: The light modes and brightness of the outdoor light string can be adjusted by the dimmable remote. Pls NOTE: THE REMOTE ONLY WORK FOR THE SOLAR MODE. 8 lighting modes and 4 brightness levels: 25%, 50%, 75%, 100% and 4 timer setting: 3hrs, 5hrs, 8hrs, time off.
