I wanted to love this lantern, but it arrived with a dent in the casing. While it does work and is bright, I expected better durability for a stormproof model. Packaging could have been better too, just saying.

Great for power outages
This lantern is a lifesaver during outages. At 500 lumens, it gives off more than enough light to keep my family comfortable. It feels sturdy too, and I love that it's stormproof, just in case. My only complaint is that I wish it had a longer battery life.

Decent, but a bit heavy
The LifeGear lantern works well, providing solid brightness at 500lm. However, it’s heavier than I expected, which made carrying it around a little inconvenient. It’s still nice for backyard use or emergency kits, just not for prolonged hikes.

Bright and reliable for camping trips
I took the LifeGear 500lm Stormproof Lantern on our latest camping trip and it was fantastic! Super bright, it lit up the entire area around our tent. The stormproof feature was a bonus since it rained the first night. Definitely worth the purchase!

Good but had issues with the light switch
The lantern is bright and stormproof, which I love. However, the switch can be a bit finicky — sometimes requires a few presses to turn on. It’s not a deal-breaker, but it's a little annoying when you need it quickly.
