The launch of the Sputnik satellite in 1957 captured the worlds imagination, dawning a new era of design innovation in the race to reach the stars. The Sputnik chandelier embodied this spirit of modernity and became an icon of mid-century style. Our Glendale pendant revives the innovative spirit of Sputnik by suspending the signature starburst within a crisp, black, textured iron cube to create a play of stunning effects. The capsule shape of the tungsten filament bulbs offers smooth respite from the striking linear motifs. Extending the starbursts sleek metal rays to anchor points in the cubes inner corners allows the chandelier to float within a darkly outlined space.

I love the design of this nine-light pendant from the Glendale collection. However, I had some trouble with a couple of the bulbs not fitting properly. The finish is beautiful, but I was hoping for a smoother installation process.

Nice light but expected a larger size
The Hudson Valley chandelier is pretty and well-made but I was surprised by its size. At 12.25 inches, I thought it would be a bit more substantial for my space. It still looks nice, but I might have gone for a bigger option.

Stylish addition to my dining room!
I installed the Hudson Valley 8912 pendant in my dining area, and it looks fantastic. The antique brass finish adds a warm touch, and the nine lights provide great illumination for dinner parties. It was a bit tricky to hang, but the final look is worth it!

Disappointed with the shipping damage
My pendant arrived with a small dent in the brass finish. I was really looking forward to installing the Hudson Valley light, but it’s going back. The design is gorgeous though, just wish it had arrived in pristine condition!
