The HydroGlow 23" Green HG500G is a high‑output underwater fishing light built for anglers who want serious brightness in a compact, portable package. Running on a standard 12V battery, this light draws about 30W and pushes roughly 7,600 lumens of green LED output in a full 360‑degree field, making it ideal for deep water or anywhere you need maximum light to pull in bait and gamefish
With 324 high‑output green LEDs arranged on three 120‑degree sides, the HG500G throws a wide, even glow that attracts plankton, then baitfish, and finally predator species right into your light field. The 23" light body (about 46" overall including the cord grip) is built on an extruded aluminum frame with hardened end caps, so it is virtually unbreakable when you drop it from the boat, lower it over the side, or let it settle near structure. A 20‑foot, 18AWG power cable with battery clips makes it easy to connect directly to your 12V source and reach the strike zone from most boats or docks.
This model is a favorite for offshore and deep‑water anglers targeting swordfish, tuna, squid, snapper, grouper, and a wide range of bait species, and it is equally effective in freshwater for striped bass, walleye, crappie, and lake trout. Drop the HG500G beside bridge pilings, along drop‑offs, or over reef and wrecks to create a bright underwater “bait cloud” that concentrates fish under your boat or around your dock. Whether you are filling the livewell before a trip or setting up an all‑night bite, the HG500G green underwater fishing light delivers the power and durability to fish hard, season after season
Key Features:
324 high-output green LEDs – maximum intensity for fish and bait attraction
20-foot heavy-duty cable – reach your optimal fishing depth
Robust 12V operation – powerful performance with efficient 4-amp draw
Virtually indestructible – extruded aluminum frame with hardened aluminum end caps
Drop-and-fish design – simply deploy, secure the cord, and start catching
The HG500G transforms any fishing location into a productive hot spot. Whether you're targeting swordfish and tuna offshore, attracting squid and bait near the surface, or pursuing striped bass and walleye in freshwater, this light creates the underwater feeding frenzy that brings fish to you. The concentrated green light penetrates the water column, stimulating micro flora and creating the cascading feeding chain that attracts everything from snapper and grouper to crappie and lake trout.
Go anywhere. Go big. Experience the HydroGlow difference.

I bought this HG500G underwater fishing light for my weekend fishing trips, and it's been fantastic! The bright glow really attracts the fish at night, making it much easier to catch them. Plus, the waterproof feature means I don’t have to worry about it getting damaged in the water.

Decent light, but shipping was slow
The underwater fishing light works well for what it is, but I really had to wait longer than expected for it to arrive. The brightness is good, but I wish it had a bit more range. Other than that, it does its job pretty well!

Not as bright as I hoped
I was really excited to try the HG500G light, but I found it wasn't as bright as I expected for night fishing. It does attract some fish, but I was hoping for a stronger output. Not a complete bust, but I wish it delivered a bit more.
