Firefly Safe & Green Lamp Oil is an odorless, non toxic and readily biodegradable Lamp Oil. This fuel can be used indoors or outdoors. Firefly Safe & Green Lamp Oil is available in 16-oz, 32-oz, gallons, 5 gallons, 55-gallon drums, barrels and 330-gallon totes. The small bottles, 16- and 32-ounces include a screw-on pour spout for easy filling.

This Product Does Not Contain Any Hazardous Chemicals Listed Under The US Clean-water Act Or California Prop. 65. It's the perfect substitute/alternative to Paraffin And Kerosene Lamp Oil. We've successfully used it in Dura Flame Kerosene Heaters. It is a combustible, NOT flammable, fuel which is exempt from Department of Transportation Regulations because it is so safe.
SETTING THE WICK PROPERLY: To conserve fuel and eliminate smoke, we suggest setting the wick ever so slightly above the wick holder; about 1/16”. The flame will reach its maximum height within 5 minutes so be patient. The larger the wick the more potential for smoking. IT’S SMOKING! Let’s Troubleshoot…. 1.) The wick is set too high. Set to 1/16” above the wick holder. 2.) Mixing fuels or using a contaminated wick… If this is the case, simply burn off or empty the vessel and start over using a new wick. 3) Use a high-quality cotton wick in your oil lamps, lanterns and candles. We suggest fiberglass wicks for tiki torches.
