The Fenix LR40R V2.0 is a 15000 lumen searchlight built for the moments when ordinary flashlights just can't reach far enough. Producing 203,568 candela, it delivers a useful range of over half a mile (900 meters), and an internal 15,000mAh battery pack (three built-in 5,000mAh cells) powers both that output and an ultra-long 177-hour runtime on its Eco Spot setting. Four lighting modes and adjustable brightness let you dial in exactly the coverage a situation demands, and the 6.89-inch A6061-T6 aluminum body is genuinely comfortable to control with one hand despite its serious capability.
Built for extreme conditions, the LR40R V2.0 carries an IP68 rating and operates reliably from -35°C to 45°C, while doubling as a power bank in emergencies when you need to charge a phone or radio instead of light the way. For outdoor workers, search and rescue teams, and explorers who need serious, dependable range in a light that can also bail you out of a dead-battery situation, the LR40R V2.0 is an essential piece of kit.

I got this Fenix light for walking my dog at night, and it works perfectly! The illumination is more than enough to see everything around us. Plus, I love that it’s rechargeable—no need to keep buying batteries.

Not as portable as I hoped
While the brightness is awesome, I found the Fenix LR40R quite bulky. It’s more of a stationary light than something I can easily carry around. Just wasn't what I was expecting for portable use.

Heavy but powerful searchlight
This rechargeable searchlight is really powerful, but I found it a bit heavy to carry around for long periods. It’s great for what it is, just wish it was a bit easier to handle during my outdoor activities.

Solid performance but charging is slow
The light is super bright and the battery life is decent, but it does take a while to charge fully. I expected faster from a product like this. Still a solid light for my emergency kit.

Bright light for outdoor adventures
I took the Fenix LR40R V2.0 on a camping trip and it lit up the entire area! The brightness is just incredible, and being rechargeable is a huge plus. I feel like I can trust it during late-night hikes.
