The Fenix LD45R is a USB-C rechargeable flashlight built around a genuinely clever idea: a digital focusing system that smoothly transitions from a tight spotlight to a wide floodlight with a simple 270-degree rotary toggle, all operable one-handed. A clear OLED display shows real-time brightness, battery charge, and charging status, so you're never guessing at what the light is actually doing. It delivers up to 2,800 lumens and reaches 480 meters (1,575 feet), making it a genuinely capable choice for search and rescue, caving, or mountaineering.
Powered by a single 5,000mAh 21700 battery, the LD45R runs up to 65 hours on Eco mode, and an electronic side switch cycles smoothly through seven modes — five brightness levels plus strobe and SOS. Built from A6061-T6 aluminum with a HAIII hard-anodized finish, it's rated IP68 waterproof and impact-resistant to 1 meter. Compact, precise, and genuinely versatile, the LD45R combines beam control most flashlights don't attempt with the durability professional and outdoor use actually demands.

I’ve been using the Fenix LD45R for a few weeks now, and it works well for my hiking trips. It’s very bright, and I love the rechargeable aspect. However, I do find it a little heavier than I expected, but that’s my only complaint!

Not What I Expected
I was excited about the Fenix LD45R, but it didn’t quite meet my needs. The light is bright, but I found the digital focus to be a bit tricky to adjust quickly. Plus, the flashlight arrived with a small dent on it which was disappointing. Still functional, but not perfect.

Bright and Reliable Flashlight!
The Fenix LD45R is an absolute powerhouse! The digital focus feature is super handy, and the brightness is just incredible. I use it for camping, and it lights up everything around me without a hitch. Rechargeable is a big plus too!
