The Fenix HP16R is a 1250 lumen headlamp built for serious outdoor use, whether that's mountaineering, search operations, or long days on the trail. Power comes from either a single Fenix ARB-LP3000 Li-polymer battery pack or four standard AA batteries, giving you flexibility when a recharge isn't an option. A separate rear battery case houses a USB Type-C charging port, keeping the weight balanced and the charging process simple.
With a maximum beam distance up to 837 feet, the HP16R throws serious reach when you need to scan a distant slope or light up a wide search area, while a runtime of up to 300 hours on its lowest floodlight and red-light settings means it can run for days between charges when you're conserving power. This is a headlamp built for people who go far from an outlet and need a light they can genuinely count on — powerful when you need distance, efficient when you need endurance, and flexible enough to run on whatever power source you have on hand.

The brightness of this headlamp is fantastic, especially at 1250 lumens. I use the Fenix HP16R for late-night dog walks. However, I found that the battery doesn't last as long as I'd hoped on the highest setting. Still, it's a solid product overall.

Bright and reliable for night hikes
I recently took the Fenix HP16R on a camping trip, and it was incredible! The 1250 lumens provided more than enough light for our night hikes. Plus, the rechargeable feature is super convenient. It's built really well too; I can tell it will last. Definitely a great headlamp for outdoor lovers!

Disappointed with the quality
I was excited about the Fenix HP16R, but mine arrived with a scratch on the lens. It worked fine for the first week, but then it started flickering which is frustrating. I expected better quality for the price. Not sure if I’d buy again.
