The Fenix HM61R V2 is an excellent choice for those seeking a dependable, powerful, and compact headlamp. Thanks to the Luminus SST40 LED plus a single 18650 battery, this Fenix light offers 1600 lumens of bright white light with a lower 5 lumen level for red light. For convenience, the HM61R V2 is light in weight and runs up to 300 hours in Eco mode. Its large single switch control ensures easy accessibility, even in dark conditions, and it can be converted to a pocket flashlight with the supplied pocket clip. What's more, it can be securely attached to metal surfaces due to its integrated magnetic tail-cap.

The Fenix HM61R V2 is great for my night fishing trips with its powerful light. However, it took a bit longer to charge than I expected. The brightness is fantastic, but I wish the charge time was quicker. Still a solid headlamp overall!

Not what I expected
I was really excited about this headlamp, but the color temperature of the light seemed different in person compared to the description. It works fine, but I was hoping for a warmer light. Might work better for others who prefer brighter, cooler lights.

Bright light for my night hikes
I recently took the Fenix HM61R V2 on a camping trip and it was a lifesaver! At 1600 lumens, it lit up the entire area, making it easy to set up my tent even in total darkness. Plus, I love that it’s rechargeable, which saves me from constantly buying batteries.

Perfect for late-night dog walks
I bought the Fenix HM61R V2 for walking my dog at night, and I couldn't be happier. The brightness at 1600 lumens is just right, and the rechargeable feature makes it super convenient. It’s durable too, which is a plus for outdoor use.

Solid headlamp but a bit heavy
This headlamp is bright and easy to use, but it does feel a little heavy on my head after an hour or so. The 1600 lumens are fantastic for working at night, but just something to keep in mind if you're sensitive to weight. Still, it’s very reliable for camping trips!
