The Fenix HL16 is a 450 lumen headlamp built for runners, campers, and trekkers who want serious brightness without a heavy headlamp weighing them down. Its beam reaches up to 341 feet (104 meters), and red and white LEDs give you both bright task lighting and low-glare, night-vision-friendly illumination depending on what the moment calls for. A 60-degree tilt lets you aim light exactly where you're headed, whether that's the trail ahead or a task right in front of you.
Lightweight German PC material keeps the HL16 genuinely comfortable for hours of wear, and it's rated for 1-meter drop resistance so a stumble on the trail won't take it out of commission. A dual switch gives you separate control over the white/red light and SOS mode, while an electronic lockout prevents unintended activation and battery drain in your pack. Available in black, chartreuse, and pink, and running on AAA batteries for up to 100 hours on low mode, the HL16 is a dependable, lightweight companion for night runs, camping trips, and everything in between.

I’m really disappointed with the Fenix HL16. It was great initially, but after just a week of using it on a couple of hikes, the light stopped working altogether. I expected better durability for an outdoor headlamp. Wouldn't recommend it.

Great for night hikes!
I took the Fenix HL16 on a hiking trip last weekend, and it was awesome! The LED light is super bright, and I could easily see the trail ahead. It’s lightweight, so I hardly noticed it on my head. Definitely worth the buy!

Decent but could improve
The headlamp is good for casual use, but I found the strap a bit uncomfortable during longer hikes. The brightness is solid, and I like the LED feature, but I wish it had more adjustment options. Not the best, but it works for now.
