The Fenix HL12R V2 is an ultralight rechargeable headlamp built for outdoor enthusiasts who don't want to feel their gear. At just 2.56 ounces, it still delivers a genuine 500 lumens and a 125-meter beam, with white and red LED options covering both general illumination and night-vision-friendly use. An extended runtime of up to 112 hours on Eco mode means it's ready for long adventures without constant recharging, and USB-C charging plus a battery-level indicator keep you informed and powered up.
Rated IP66 water-resistant for heavy rain and dust, with a lockout function that prevents accidental activation in storage or transit, the HL12R V2 is the kind of ultralight headlamp built to disappear on your head until the exact moment you need it — on a hike, a run, or a job that runs past dark.

I bought this headlamp for my evening runs. It's super light, and the adjustable brightness is really useful. However, I wish the charging cable was a bit longer for easier use.

Decent Light but Unclear Instructions
The light output of the Fenix HL12R V2 is solid, but I found the setup instructions a bit confusing. After a few tries, I got it working, but it took longer than I expected.

Perfect for Camping, but Fragile
While the headlamp is great for camping and gives off good light, I dropped it once and the casing cracked. I was a bit bummed since I really liked its performance before that happened.

Lightweight and Powerful for Hiking
I took the Fenix HL12R V2 on a recent hiking trip, and it was fantastic! The brightness was impressive, even on the darkest trails. Plus, being rechargeable means I don’t have to keep buying batteries.
