The Fenix CL28R is the rare lantern that genuinely earns its spot across camping, photography, construction, and auto repair alike. Stepless brightness adjustment from 10 all the way to 2000 lumens, paired with stepless color temperature control from 2700K to 6500K, means you dial in exactly the light you need instead of picking from fixed presets. A 360-degree rotating handle, magnetic base, and tripod socket cover nearly every mounting scenario, and a 160-degree beam angle throws wide, even coverage.
A red light mode preserves night vision or handles emergency signaling. The 10,000mAh battery runs up to 15 days (360 hours) on its lowest setting and fast-charges via USB-C in 4 hours. Rated for 1.5-meter drops and IP66 water resistance, the CL28R is as durable as it is genuinely versatile.

The Fenix CL28R is a solid outdoor lantern, but I found it a bit bulkier than I expected. It lights up the area really well, though. Just wish it were lighter for backpacking. Great for backyard use as well!

Arrived with a dent, disappointed
I was excited to get my Fenix CL28R, but it came with a noticeable dent. It works fine, and the light is bright, but it kind of ruined my first impression. Hoping the next one is in perfect shape!

Great lantern for camping trips!
I took the Fenix CL28R on a recent camping trip, and it was awesome. The multifunctional design makes it easy to use in different situations, and the LED brightness is just right. The lantern is sturdy, and the battery life held up all weekend!
