The Fenix CL20R V2 is a 300 lumen camping lantern that proves compact and colorful can also be genuinely useful. Weighing just 122 grams, it disappears into a pack but still delivers bright, even light for a tent, a picnic table, or a dark trail. Six lighting modes give you real range: white light for practical illumination, red constant-on or flashing for low-glare visibility, and RGB chase, flow, or stepless transitions for pure mood-setting fun around the campsite.
A magnetic base and hanging loop let you place the CL20R V2 wherever you need it — stuck to a metal surface, hung from a tent pole, or set on a table — and a single-switch interface keeps operation simple even in the dark. The delay-off function lets it fade out gently as you drift off to sleep, and the included 1900mAh battery recharges quickly over USB-C. Rated IP65 water resistant and 1.5-meter impact resistant, the CL20R V2 packs genuine durability into a light that's just as happy setting the mood as it is lighting your way.

I had high hopes for this lantern, but the battery life just isn't cutting it. It started flickering after just a few hours of use, which was a letdown. On the plus side, it does look nice and has some cool color features.

Great Light for Outdoor Fun!
I bought the Fenix CL20R v2 for our weekend camping trip, and it did not disappoint! The color options were a hit with the kids, and the brightness was just right for our campsite. Easy setup too. Highly recommend it for any outdoor activity!

Solid Lantern, but a Little Bulky
This lantern works well and lights up the area nicely with its multicolor options. However, I found it to be slightly bulkier than I expected for backpacking. Not a dealbreaker, but something to consider if you want to save space.

Good Lantern But Had Delivery Issues
I really like the Fenix CL20R v2 for its multicolor settings, and it shines very brightly. However, it took longer to arrive than anticipated, which was a bit frustrating. Still, it works great for our backyard camping.
