The diminutive 5-1/2-inch shade holds an impressive 78 pieces of colored glass that wind and curve in a rich, earthy palette of gleaming bronze, buttery tan, and soft cream. The shape recalls a bell-shaped flower and becomes even more delicate with the freeform scalloped bottom edge. As useful as it is lovely, the multi-toned mica/bronze metal arm features arched shaping and adjusts at three joints to position the light perfectly. The weighted, stepped base is elegant yet sturdy so this lamp can perch confidently on a busy desk or bedside table.The renowned manufacturer of fine glass lighting and home d cor, Dale Tiffany employs the highest quality hand-rolled art glass, hand leading, and the copper foil technique, the assembly method originally developed by Louis Comfort Tiffany more than 100 years ago.
