The Classic Friendship Lamp brings people together with a simple touch. Choose a color, touch your lamp, and the other online Friendship Lamps in your group glow in that color—a gentle way to stay connected across town or around the world.
Why You’ll Love It
Send a little signal: Touch your lamp to share its color with the other online lamps in your group.
Mix and match: Classic connects with other Friendship Lamp styles and generations, including Lumi. Your lamps don’t have to match.
Choose your color: Select from 256 colors to share a mood or make a moment your own. The lamp does not produce true white light.
A distinctive design: Tiffany-print acrylic panels and a polished black frame bring a stained-glass look to a nightstand, desk, or living space.
No subscription for lamp-to-lamp touches: Classic connects with other Friendship Lamps without a monthly fee.
How It Works
Plug in your lamp and set it up using the Friendship Lamps app.
Connect it to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network; 5 GHz Wi-Fi isn’t supported.
Add it to a group with the other lamps you want to connect with.
Touch the lamp to send its color to the other online lamps in that group.
After setup, you can touch the lamp to send a glow without opening the app each time.
Compatibility and Groups
Classic works with other Friendship Lamp models and generations, so your group can mix and match styles. Each lamp can belong to one group at a time. If you move it to another group, it leaves the first one. A touch reaches the other online lamps in its current group.
Classic lamp-to-lamp touches don’t require a subscription. FriendLi lamps do require an active Remote Touch subscription to function. Remote Touch is optional for Classic and adds phone-based touches and other features.
A Thoughtful Gift for Someone You Miss
Give one to a friend, partner, or family member as a simple way to share a daily reminder: I’m thinking of you. Pair sets come pre-paired, ready to set up and connect.

I gifted the Classic Design Friendship Lamp to my best friend who moved across the country. It’s such a unique way to feel connected! The lamp lights up beautifully when I touch mine, and it’s a great reminder of our friendship. Totally worth it!

Touch lamp not very responsive
I bought the Friendship Lamp for my parents to stay connected with us. However, I found that the touch feature is a bit sluggish. Sometimes, it doesn't respond immediately, which is frustrating. The design is lovely, but I wish the functionality was better.

Great idea, but setup took a while
I love the concept of the Friendship Lamp, but setting it up was a bit tricky. It took a few tries to connect to the Wi-Fi, and the instructions could be clearer. Once it was up and running, it worked great, and my daughter loves it!

Beautiful lamp for keeping in touch!
I got this Classic Design Friendship Lamp for my sister who lives far away. The touch feature is really cool — whenever I touch mine, hers lights up! The design is elegant, and it fits nicely in her decor. It’s so nice to feel connected!
