I was looking forward to using the Carson RedSight for my nighttime reading, but the brightness wasn't quite what I hoped. It works, but I expected it to be a bit stronger. Still helpful for astronomy though!

Decent, but a bit small
The flashlight is nice and bright, but I was surprised at how small it is. It's easy to carry around for astronomy nights, but I wish it had a bit more heft to it. Still, it does the job well!

Arrived with a dent
I love the flashlight, but it came with a small dent on the side, which was disappointing. It still works fine, but the packaging could have been better. Just be aware when ordering.

Great for star map reading!
I bought the Carson RedSight flashlight for my stargazing nights, and it's fantastic! The red LED helps me preserve my night vision while I read star maps. The two brightness settings are super handy too, just the right amount of light I need.
