Kelvin represents the color (which is based on the temperature) of the light. Bioluz LEDs are manufactured so that our 2700K (2700 Kelvin) bulbs are nearly identical in color to incandescent bulbs. Our 3000K bulbs are designed to match halogen bulbs. Weve found that bulbs which are 4-5000K generate a bluish tint on objects (like at a hospital or office building) and are not as comforting in a home. Many brands sell and market higher Kelvin bulbs with lower lumens to make them appear brighter. Bioluz LED manufactures the correct color bulbs with exceptionally bright, energy efficient LEDs, so you get the color and brightness youre accustomed to without the harsh effect of higher color temperatures.

I installed the Bioluz PAR20 bulbs in my living room, and the soft white 3000K color is just perfect. They dim down nicely too, which adds a cozy vibe when entertaining friends. At 5.5W, they’re super energy-efficient and replaced my old 75W halogens without a hitch!

Decent but a Little Too Dimmable
I bought these dimmable bulbs for my dining room. They work fine, but I find that even on the highest setting, they're not as bright as I hoped. I guess I just expected more from a 75W replacement. Still, they’re okay for ambient lighting.

Great Color Accuracy
These Bioluz LED bulbs have a 90 CRI, and I’m thrilled with the color accuracy. My artwork looks vibrant under these lights! The only downside was that it took a bit longer to arrive than expected, but they were worth the wait for sure.

Perfect for Spot Lighting

Stopped Working After a Month
I was really happy with these bulbs initially, but one of them stopped working after just a month of use. I loved the soft white light, but I’m a bit bummed about the longevity. Hope this is just a one-off issue!
