Clamp the inductive pick-up around the number one spark plug wire, ensuring the arrow is facing the spark plug.
Keep the inductive pick-up away from extremely hot areas such as the exhaust manifold to prevent damage.
Connect the RED clamp to the positive (+) terminal of the battery.
Connect the BLACK clamp to a secure engine ground, avoiding the negative (-) battery terminal and fuel components for safety.
