How to Work
Step 1: Connect the WiFi controller to the LED light strip using the included 4-pin connector. Ensure correct orientation as indicated by the instruction arrows on both the WiFi controller and the light strip. The maximum output is 100W.
Step 2: Connect the LED WiFi controller to a power adapter (not included). The controller supports 12V-24V adapters, with a power adapter port size of 5.5 x 2.1mm.
Step 3: Download the Magic Home Pro App on your phone and register an account as per the guided instructions. You can scan the code or find the app in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
Step 4: Power on the wireless WiFi controller, then access your phone’s WiFi settings to find “LEDNetxxxx” and connect. If you can't find it, reset the WiFi controller by plugging and unplugging the connector repeatedly four times.
Step 5: Open the Magic Home app and select “Direct connect the device control” to connect the controller in Hotspot Mode. This allows control of the LED light strip via your phone without needing a network, ideal for use in cars, boats, or outdoor settings without WiFi.
Step 6: Tap “settings” to switch the LED controller to Wi-Fi Mode, enabling connection to a WiFi router for home use, perfect for room decoration or TV background lighting.
Important Notes:
1. Under Hotspot Mode, maintain proximity to the controller to receive a signal, as it does not use WiFi.
2. In Hotspot Mode, multiple phones can connect to the same LED controller, but each phone can only control one LED controller at a time.
3. In WiFi Mode, each phone can control multiple LED controllers, allowing for naming and grouping for individual or collective control; however, each LED controller can only be controlled by one phone.
4. Ensure you are using a 2.4GHz network, as the RGB LED controller is incompatible with 5GHz WiFi.
