The Armasight Watchman IR Illuminator is a must-have for anyone in the field using night vision devices. Powered by VCSEL technology, the Watchman IR Illuminator helps positively ID targets and track prey beyond 500 yards. This device features three brightness settings to aid visibility when there is low to no ambient light available and can focus as low as 3 degrees and out to a 14-degree field of view. The Watchman works great as a handheld unit however, if the mission dictates, you can mount it to your firearm or night vision device via the included 30mm ring. The push button tail cap can be swapped out for the provided tape switch if it is needed in a more tactical application. The body is constructed with aircraft-grade aluminum and is built to be shockproof with an IP67 waterproof rating.

I was excited to try the Armasight IR flashlight, but it didn't meet my expectations. The illumination is okay, but it struggles a bit beyond 300 yards, which was a bummer for my night hunts. It’s compact, but just didn’t deliver the brightness I wanted.

Great for nighttime wildlife spotting
I bought the Armasight IR flashlight for some nighttime wildlife photography, and it’s been fantastic. The long-range capability up to 500 yards really helps, and my night vision scope picks it up perfectly. The compact design makes it easy to carry around too!

Decent but took a while to arrive
The infrared flashlight is solid for what it is, but I was disappointed with the shipping time. It took over a week to get here. Once it arrived, I tested it with my night vision goggles and it works great up to 500 yards. Just wished the delivery was quicker.
