Product DescriptionThe Metropolis Floor Lamp is a sleek, contemporary style with a dramatic black nickel finish and elegant frosted glass bowl shade. An Adesso patented 300-Watt Double Socket construction allows for two crisscrossed sockets, each holding on/off 150 Watt incandescent or LED bulbs which provides approximately 3 times more the light than a typical torchiere. A simple high/low rotary switch is located on the shade cup to adjust the brightness. This lamp has a black cord and is smart outlet compatible. Bulbs are not included.From the ManufacturerThis deco-inspired 300 Watt floor lamp has a frosted glass bowl shade that flows from the fluted metal socket. Below the socket three horizontal disks of descending size float above a real round pole that tapers as it reaches the round base. Available in black nickel or chrome with round satin steel accent on base. Takes 2x150 Watt, High/low socket switch. 71.5 Height. Pole tapers from 1.5 to .75 Diameter at bottom. 10 Base appears to be floating above the floor as it sits on top of an 8 weighted sib-base
