Home Concept Signature Shades feature the finest premium hardback parchment. Durable parchment means your new lampshade will last for decades. It wont get brittle from smoke or sunlight like less expensive paper shades. Heavy brass and steel frames means your shades can withstand abuse from kids and pets. It's a difference you can feel when you lift it. This hardback empire shade has a black with gold lining. The dark blocks most light from illuminating the shade, but the gold lining reflects the light up and down to light up the space.

I bought this 14" x 11" lampshade for an accent lamp in my living room, and it's stunning! The bold black color contrasts nicely with the true gold lining, adding a touch of elegance. It was easy to install and fits perfectly. I'm thrilled with how it looks!

Looks different in person
I was excited to get this lampshade, but the gold lining looks a bit dull compared to the photos. It's still a nice product, but I expected it to pop more in my decor. Delivery was on time, at least!

Lampshade arrived damaged
Unfortunately, my lampshade arrived with a dent in the side. I'm really disappointed because I loved the design and color. I contacted customer service for a return, so we'll see how that goes. Hopefully, I can get a replacement soon!

Nice design but a bit smaller than expected
I really like the bold black with gold lining on this lampshade, it looks classy. Just a heads up though, the size (14" x 11") is a little smaller than I imagined. It still works for my side table lamp, but I wish it was a tad bigger. Still a solid buy!
